Beyond Library Search: using databases and journal collections to find information In-Person
This workshop is aimed at students at level 5 (2nd year) and above. It will be particularly useful to students doing an extended research project or dissertation this year.
Databases and journal collections offer you a more advanced way of looking for research to support your assignments, with more controls and search options in a more subject specific information environment.
This workshop will give you the skills and confidence you need to explore these excellent resources for yourself, taking you beyond Library Search and into the realm of higher-level research.
